HOW TO SOLVE ANY PROBLEM
(Based on Isaiah 41 and 47)

Problems come in all sizes;
There are many different kinds.
Some of them are obvious;
Others are all in our minds.

But when a problem does arise,
Making your stomach churn,
To whom do you turn for your answers?
To which god will you turn?

Will you rush to speak to a sorcerer,
Or rely on a witch’s spell?
Will you look to Satan’s black magic,
To insure that all will end well?

You may prefer astrology,
Or your psychic friend on the phone,
But your ultimate fate can only be told,
By Christ at His judgment throne.

You can turn to your earthly idols,
To lessen the pain in your heart,
But they may bring more problems,
And split your family apart.

To force a solution with terror,
Is many a person’s quest.
They look for an easy answer;
They care not what is best.

And it doesn’t help to worry,
When looking for a solution.
Use prayer, patience, and faith,
For God is the resolution.

  A CALL TO ARMS (Exodus 17:8-16) Nomads and raiders who killed for pleasure, Attacked the Israelites. Then Moses said to Joshua, “Go fight those Amalekites. For tomorrow I will stand on the hill, With the staff of God in my hands." While he, Brother Aaron and Hur climbed the hill, Joshua followed his commands. As long as Moses held up his arms, the Israelites were winning, But whenever he lowered his arms, The Amalekites were winning. When Moses' arms grew tired, He was given a stone to sit on. Aaron and Hur held up his arms, Until the sun was gone. Joshua won the battle, Then to Moses the Lord God said, "Write this down as something to remember, ‘Til their offspring all are dead." They fought off all of the Amalekites, In a multi-generation campaign. Their descendants were finally killed off, During King Hezekiah’s reign.   THREE PART STORY OF SAMSON Part 1: The Riddler (Judges 14:10 - 15:2) Samson was set apart by God, To be a Nazarite. He was never to cut his hair, For in it was his might. From among the Philistine people, Samson took a wife. A string of events were set in motion, That would one day end his life. It started with fun at the wedding, With a riddle he would amuse. The prize was 30 pairs of clothes, And no one wanted to lose. When the answer escaped the Philistines, They sought out Samson’s wife. They told her she must help them, Or she would lose her life.
